Hend Riad & Mariam Hazem are the founders of Reform Studio, an internationally-awarded brand based in Cairo. Its goal is to design for a cause & promote sustainability through a range of high-end ecofriendly accessories, furniture & homeware.

After the 2011 revolution in Egypt, they were excited to be part of a great change around them. To serve the environment around them and solve some of Egypt’s problems, they invented “Plastex.” They founded Reform Studio in 2012, with a goal to design responsible products that positively impact society and empower local craftsmen. All Reform pieces are handmade & eco-friendly, made out of upcycled plastic bags and high end materials.
