Shagreen & Tortoise

Shagreen & Tortoise jewels are inspired by retro mid-century jewelry, using natural materials such as shells and urchins to produce one-of-a-kind exceptional pieces of wearable art. Marie-Helene Loubrielle, the Parisian designer behind the line, was born in Paris but grew up in New York, São Paulo, and Singapore, building her inspiration upon these contrasted cultures. Shagreen & Tortoise rings are entirely hand-made in France, using rosecut gemstones from Jaïpur and 18k gold vermeil. The shells are carefully selected from non-endangered species.
