SONIA CARRASCO® is a ready-to-wear womenswear designer brand.
We avoid the "sustainable" as we do not identify with it. Our brand aspires to be associated with style as much as with environmental commitment. We invest in quality over quantity and create timeless collections which can be valued forever.
We carefully select and use recycled, vegan or organic fibers and work with suppliers who match our values, radical transparency is extremely important to us, because our clothes support our values and manufacturing processes, where our material sourcing does not damage the ecosystem.
With SONIA CARRASCO, clothes are a different kind of experience.
Workers are paid a living wage; no child labour or human trafficking is involved in the production of the collection; the factory is compliant with all local environmental regulations.
This collection is entirely made in the designer’s studio and/or by an artisan collective of fewer than 10 people.
The products in this collection are made with at least 50% recycled or upcycled materials.
The material or ingredients in this collection are at least 80% derived from organic farming.
This collection has been made using at least 90% plant-based ingredients or materials.
At least 1% of this brand’s sales go to a charity partner.
This collection has been produced on a small scale, with environmentally sensitive production methods; the constituent materials have been sourced sustainably, and conserve biodiversity.
All packaging in this collection is recyclable, recycled and free from petroleum based plastics.
The brand producing this collection has a net zero carbon footprint.
