Thirteen Months is an online boutique specialising in luxury cotton homeware such as rugs, placemats, cushions, and throws. All products are handwoven in Ethiopia using traditional wooden looms. Thirteen Months is a marriage of traditional craftsmanship and modern style, with conscious practice at its core. Customers are introduced to a world of luxurious homeware handmade in Addis Ababa, uniquely crafted using weaving techniques that date back to the eighteenth century. Ethically minded and sustainability driven, Thirteen Months uses locally grown, high quality cotton, and local workers are recruited from disadvantaged backgrounds to promote social mobility. With a strong emphasis on limited wastage, surplus materials are upcycled to create brand new, bespoke pieces.
