Product Details
The top stone is a bright spring green cabochon peridot of 9mm by 7mm and the lower stone is a fabulous cabochon green onyx of 10mm by 8mm.
The surround is simple but looks substantial, made from .925 sterling silver and half a micron of 18k gold vermeil, so the gold should last very well. The post is attached to the lower edge of the top stone so the earring sits well up on the ear and the lower stone is slightly larger with a circlet of gold vermeil in the centre.

Care should be taken not to drop or knock the piece of jewelry as a stone may be damaged or fall out.
Eventually all gold vermeil will wear off and the more often it is worn, the more quickly this will happen. However, as this is a full micron of 18k gold vermeil and as the only place it touches the skin is behind the earring, this should not show for a long time.
