Style notes

Our Grid design is a MINNA kitchen and dining staple. Expanding on all your kitchen favorites - napkins, oven mitts, and pot holders, we’ve added a new half apron style to the family.
The Grid Bistro Apron offers the perfect amount of coverage from splashes in the kitchen to soil from the garden. Featuring a front pocket for all your essentials and an adjustable tie for a custom fit.
Handwoven by a family run cooperative in Chiapas, Mexico.

Sustainability guarantees

Is the manufacturing process of your collection free from child labour and human trafficking, are all workers paid a living wage, and is the factory compliant with all local environmental regulations?

Is your collection made exclusively in your studio or by an artisan collective of fewer than 10 people? There should be a focus on preserving artisanal production methods and skilled workers in order to qualify.

Minna Goods

Based in: United States of America

MINNA is a New York based modern home textile brand. A certified B-Corp, established in 2013 by Sara Berks.

MINNA uses traditional craft techniques to produce ethically made home decor with a contemporary edge. Employing a cottage industry approach, MINNA partners with master weavers and artisan collectives in Mexico, Guatemala, and Uruguay, which helps ensure craft preservation and job creation.

What began as an exploration in tapestry weaving evolved into the MINNA home textile collection. Designs are informed and inspired by Feminist art, the Bauhaus, traditional craft, and vintage textiles.

MINNA comes from Sara’s maternal grandmother’s middle name - dropped upon her arrival to the United States from Germany in 1940. Sara liked the story: nostalgic with a touch of rebellion.
