Located on the banks of the River Thame, the Sea Containers House was designed by American Modernist architect Warren Platner in the 70's. The original concrete facade had a grid-like appearance and is now illuminated with blue lights that emphasises its horizontale and vertical structure.

This print has been reproduced using a high-resolution giclée printing process on high quality smooth archival paper. This is a beautiful print with incredibly fine detail. It has a lovely super matt finish and vibrant brilliant colors.

Hand-embossed for authenticity. Designed and printed in the UK.

Each print is produced to order and supplied unframed, Please allow for slight color variations from screen to print.
Your print will be carefully placed in a stiff hardboard envelope or rolled in acid-free tissue paper and carefully placed in a cardboard postal tube for larger prints. This will ensure they arrive with you in perfect condition.

Please ensure when you receive your order, that you handle the work with great care. The best way to remove a large print from the postage tube without creasing or tearing it is to pull carefully on the tissue paper it is wrapped in.
Petite ~ A4 (210mm × 297mm)

Meet The Designer

An Idea So Beautiful is a creative studio founded by award winning designer and illustrator Karine Fortier, who studied at the University of The Arts London. She has designed a collection of playful and contemporary paper goods all printed on demand and finished by hand in her tiny studio in the UK.

Karine draws her inspiration for her designs from her day to day creative explorations, and her love for her home town Paris. She always carry with her a small notebook in which she jot down anything that might unexpectedly give life to new projects.

The Giclee Prints are printed on Premium Archival Munken paper, and hand-embossed which insure their authenticity. They have a lovely matt smooth finish and brilliant colors. Munken is an environmentally friendly and ecologically sound paper produced at Munkedals. The Greeting Cards are printed on GF Smith’s Colorplan paper, which is a premium quality paper made in England from 100% ECF virgin fiber, acid-free and FSC certified. The cards envelope is made with recycled 120gsm paper and comes in an elegant dove grey. To ensure that the prints and cards arrives with you in perfect condition, we use 100% Bio-degradable cellophane bags. Those sleeves feel slightly different to the traditional ‘cello’ sleeve, but they are compostable. Even the clear stickers we use for our packaging are plastic free!
