Who doesn't love a bit of sparkle for the holiday season? We challenged Fashion & Lifestyle Creator Amy Sequins to create four festive looks to give you inspiration for the holidays.
Look 1
Holiday season can be chaotic (but fun!) so the Chaos Jumper by Iggy & Burt in a bright red shade was a must for the first truly busy festive period scattered with plans after a couple of quieter years. To give the outfit a bit more of a festive feel, I had to add a sequin midi skirt by Narro, which has two-tone sequins — either black or silver depending on the look you're going for — midi in length to keep even the most sequinned of items a bit more casual, plus a very deceivingly high platform Mary Jane by Rag & Co, topped off with glitter socks.
Look 2
Nothing screams festive to me more than tartan and this absolutely incredible pleated kilt from independent brand Come On which is the epitome of cool. A day out shopping is the perfect excuse for wearing a thick (and quite warm on the legs) tartan midi, and to not take away from how special the skirt is, I just paired this with a plain chic black top.
Now let's talk about winter boots! We all know what a typical winter boot looks like, but what if we switched it up for a western boot like these Asra Marvelo ankle boots. There's no better feeling than wearing a statement boot that brings an outfit to life. Not only are they wearable all year round, but they are excellent quality too meaning they will last you a lifetime (and also perfect for walking miles around the shops whilst looking for the perfect pair of slippers for your Nana).
Look 3
I love a statement skirt with a casual tee, something about it screams let's dance the night away..,or in this Fanclub T-shirt’s case — 'Yes sir. I can boogie'! These shoes will always be the party piece for me, and these patent Rag&Co Mary Janes are totally epic and let's face it, a conversation starter. I love classic sequins during the holiday season but I personally think they are for all year round! With a skirt like this Amy Lynn piece you can take the sequins from day to night, from winter through summer plus everywhere in between.
Look 4
After the chaos of the festive season has subsided and all of the tipples have been drunk, what is there to do but head out into the fresh air for a brisk snowy walk? One of my favorite things to do is to wear a cosy coat, a pair of classic jeans like these Baukjen organic boyfriend jeans and a pair of walking boots, and head out for a walk. This fluffy green checked midi coat by Vikiglow couldn't be more perfect for this, it had me feeling all wrapped up and cosy whilst looking chic too.
