Sustainability guarantees
Is the manufacturing process of your collection free from child labour and human trafficking, are all workers paid a living wage, and is the factory compliant with all local environmental regulations?
Is your collection made exclusively in your studio or by an artisan collective of fewer than 10 people? There should be a focus on preserving artisanal production methods and skilled workers in order to qualify.
Is your collection manufactured on a small scale in an environmentally sensitive manner, from non-synthetic, sustainably sourced materials, ingredients or textiles e.g. beeswax, silk? (all must apply)

Breaking-in period - Leather is a natural product and after the tanning process, some pieces may be slightly stiff to start with.
Do not overfill a bag.
To clean, just use a damp cloth.
Try not to expose your product to extreme weather conditions, sun, and rain in particular as direct heat or sunlight over prolonged periods may cause the leather to crack and color to fade unevenly.
Regular conditioning will prevent the leather from drying out and keep it supple.
For marks and scratches on natural finish leathers, just rub with a little pressure from your finger which replaces the natural oils. Ink marks, grease and oil stains are usually not removable and should be left alone or taken by a professional cleaner.
Nickel-plated items will just need buffing up occasionally with a dry cloth.
Keep the dust bag your product came in for storage.
