This collection is entirely made in the designer’s studio and/or by an artisan collective of fewer than 10 people.
No parabens, SLS, petroleum, mineral oil, phthalates, formaldehyde or synthetic fragrances are used in any of the products in this collection.
This collection has been made using at least 90% plant-based ingredients or materials.
The brand producing this collection has a net zero carbon footprint.
The materials in this collection are free from AZO dyes and phthalates.
The material or ingredients in this collection are at least 80% derived from organic farming.
This collection has been produced on a small scale, with environmentally sensitive production methods; the constituent materials have been sourced sustainably, and conserve biodiversity.
Alternative materials/ingredients have been used where an animal product would normally be used.
The products and constituent ingredients in this collection are not tested on animals.
All packaging in this collection is recyclable, recycled and free from petroleum based plastics.
Workers are paid a living wage; no child labour or human trafficking is involved in the production of the collection; the factory is compliant with all local environmental regulations.
Wires Glasses created an universal mask which hangs from your glasses, rather than your ears, which we have found to be a much more comfortable experience to wear, and less likely to fog glasses’ lenses.
The wire does not come with the mask. The wire is handmade in Italy.
The wire works with our mask but Wires Glasses masks work as well with any glasses (with arms up to 1.5cm wide).

Meet The Designer
Wires Glasses is a genderless eyewear brand handmade by eyewear specialists in Northern Italy.
Wires uses stainless steel wire for the frames and 3D printing for the lens rims, producing a minuscule amount of waste in comparison to conventional eyewear manufacturing. We champion quality, and consider our frames akin to jewelry - to be loved and looked after.
Wires is using a bio-material derived from castor beans for both the 3D printed rims, and all sunglasses lenses, including a wide variety of colors
The inclusive designs have been developed to suit any face for any occasion, and break the conventions of sustainable eyewear, being ultra comfortable, lightweight and durable.
