Each triangle connects with the one next to it through hinges at the back that allow the necklace to flow freely and mold on your body. The use of 39 triangles references the feminist artwork "The Dinner Party" by Judy Chicago.

Meet The Designer
J.Y. GAO engineers kinetic jewelry that moves with the body.
“My creative process revolves around one question - how can I leverage the anatomy and kinetics of the body to create art which transforms with it?"
Gao is inspired by kinetic art and the transformation of an object's appearance when it is in motion. She experiments with the effect of force on structures to generate designs that are most beautiful when in motion.
