Meet The Designer
Orikomi brand was created in November 2013 and is based on developing products that blend origami techniques with lighting.
Orikomi products, inspired by clean lines and geometric shapes, are carefully handcrafted, in Lisbon, Portugal, using high quality paper with a wide variety of colors.
Ana Morgado and Carmo Caldeira, both with an architectural background, are responsible for the brand development.
Orikomi lamps are a statement of love for the planet. They have a positive ecological impact due to the fact that they are handmade, have low energy consumption (promoting the use of energy-saving light bulbs) and at the end of their life cycle are completely recyclable.
