This bag is hand-sewn in a local family-owned manufacture & made of the highest quality Italian vegetable tanned leather. It means that only organic tannins were used in the process. The leather was produced in eco-aware tannery that manages water waste and uses renewable energy sources. It only reuses and upcycles waste from European food industry. It is lined with a unique fabric that consists of the finest cotton with the OEKO-TEX certificate and in 65% of recycled PET bottles.

Leather is a natural material and aging is part of its natural life cycle – some wrinkles and color changes may occur over time. The bag should be kept away from heat sources and not kept in the sun for a long time. Avoid contact with water – if the bag gets wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible. Avoid carrying large or heavy items in order to avoid deformation. The golden logo is very delicate, the letters can rub off when touched too often.

THE MAR stands for the modern artisans's responsibility. We create classic designs that combine Polish craftsmanship and the most innovative ecological & sustainable European technologies. THE MAR bags are hand-sewned in a local, family-owned manufacture near Warsaw, Poland. They are made from the highest quality Italian leather with the most important ecological certificates. The tanneries we have chosen are sustainable – they use energy from the renewable sources, i.a. solar and wind energy, they use central wastewater treatment plant and apply the circural economy framework in regards to production waste. Even our lining makes us proud. This unique fabric is produced from the highest quality cotton and recycled PET bottles that account for 65% of its composition. Choose consciously!
