These rough cut rings are sensational. The lovely thing about rough cuts is that if you had a faceted or cabochon gemstone of this size you would be paying a great deal more. But this way you get the gorgeous intense color of the stone but at a fraction of the cost and arguably in a more interesting stone.

The are five gemstone options, this one being tanzanite, a divine, deep cornflower blue. The others, avialable seperately are peridot, a bright verdant green; aquamarine, a soft aqua blue; amethyst, a deep purple and rose quartz, which is a pale rose.

These rings are set in a simple surround of .925 silver with .5 micron of 18k gold vermeil, which shows their color off to perfection.

Please note each rough cut stone is unique therefore shape and color varies with each stone.

All Gem Bazaar jewelry comes in a vibrant upcycled silk sari bag and a pretty pillow box.
To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.
All vermeil jewellery eventually wears off, and the more often you wear it the more quickly it will come off, however most good jewellers will be able to replate it for you.
The stones vary tremendously in shape and size, but they are all medium to large stones. The smallest is about 15mm by 10mm and the largest is about 15mm by 20mm. The shapes are all different.

Meet The Designer

Over 15 years ago, the founders of Gem Bazaar walked into a room in Delhi that was on fire. The light of a thousand suns exploded off gemstones of all descriptions. Their stories, their color, their brilliance became the centrepiece of the fledgling company. Since then, Gem Bazaar has existed to make these glorious gemstones the centrepiece of bold, unusual and glamorous rings and earrings, set in .925 silver and 18k silver gilt.
These days, particularly, our earth becomes more valuable by the day. With it, all gemstones are now considered precious, since all are rare and their supply is limited. Nothing complements a woman like a gemstone - an exquisite fragment of color and light frozen in time, reflecting the earth's story in it's very existence.
Gem Bazaar jewelry celebrates the joy of womaninity, both of being and wearing what is natural and real.
