Meet The Designer
On a tireless quest to enable the women’s feeling of being well dressed, all of McVERDI’s four annual collections include everything from outerwear for all
occasions, to dresses, knitwear, shirts, skirts, scarves and pants. McVERDI is a Danish brand founded in 1987 by Danish designer Lotte Honoré and located in the picturesque area of North Zealand in Denmark - right by the ocean shore.
Being permanently in love with nature Lotte Honoré finds most of her inspiration while being outside. Bringing home new ideas for the little details like a
button, a sleeve, a print or a neckline Lotte Honoré starts looking for materials perfect for an urban lifestyle, close to nature. It is always the material - not the idea that comes first. The structure in a nicely woven linen fabric, the calmness of a rare matte silk or the soft feel from the wool of a yak ox decides the final look entirely.
McVERDI’s Nordic vibe of looking naturally feminine, edgy yet classic seems to please women from all over the world. It is all about clothes that work with and not against your body. Clothes that compliment your natural colors and curves - still making you feel and look like you. Just a little bit better.
“It is the structure of the fabric that tells me what to create. I have an idea. I never do sketches. I just let the fabric tell me what to do and start cutting.”
- Lotte Honoré, Designer and founder.
