Onthophagus pentacanthus. The Scarab Beetle Cocktail Ring is a unique take on the traditional evening showpiece.

This stunning, award nominated design consists of a life-sized scarab beetle made in sterling silver, highlighted with gold plating and clutching a large, faceted smokey quartz. The beetle is set with a single diamond in the pronotum and a trail of garnets along the thorax. The natural realism continues with the twig detailing around the band, a feature found in all of the rings from the Entomology Collection. This is the ultimate statement piece, both decadent and bold for this seasons trend-setters and head-turners.
The ring is made from oxidised silver and so any using silver dip may remove this effect. The crown and legs are gold vermeil and should not be brought into contact with chlorine, cleaning agents, perfumes or lotions. The design is as life-like as possible so care must be taken to not damage the legs. To protect your jewellery, it should be the last thing you put on when getting dressed and we recommend turning the ring to the palm and creating a fist to avoid catching whilst putting on coats and jumpers.

Meet The Designer

Yasmin Everley is a young British designer, born and bred in Camden, London. Yasmin has been surrounded by jewelry for longer than she can remember, working alongside her mother, also a jewelry designer, since the age of eleven has inevitably influenced her own designs. However, her degree in Classical Studies, combined with a love of the late 18th and early 19th century – the age of exploration and excavation – has provided Yasmin's main source of inspiration. Her collections include Entomology, Typography and Astrology. Her jewelry is all made from polished Sterling Silver and oxidised solid Sterling Silver, embellished with pure gold and precious stones.
