Style notes

Handmade from local red earthenware clay, our selection of side and dinner plates will give a quirky and vibrant feel to your table setting. Strong and sturdy for everyday use, bring each mealtime to life with this exciting take on the traditional Puglian Splatter

Paying homage to Puglia’s sense of passion and vibrancy, the collection features a dark green glaze with an energetic white speckle. Drawing inspiration from the region’s traditional design of a vibrant hued speckle on a simple white ground the splatter collection reverses this colorway and takes advantage of the unique fusion between the green and white glaze.

Emma Cerasulo

Based in: United Kingdom

Emma Cerasulo (pronounced chera-su-lo), is a ceramic design studio founded upon an ethos of creativity and collaboration.

Established by designer Emma Ward, the studio aims to celebrate the beauty of traditional quality craftsmanship and design in collections with a distinctively modern aesthetic. Splitting her time between Britain and Puglia, Southern Italy, where her family own a traditional trulli home (Trulli di Cerasulo), Emma collaborates with local potters in the ‘quartiere delle ceramiche’, Grottaglie, exploring her love of color, texture and technique whilst paying homage to the region’s traditional designs.
