The Cleanse Candle range by Lit Candles has been carefully created to help combat stress, anxiety and to promote well-being. Lit Candles created a blend of pure essential oils that offers cleansing, clarifying, immune-boosting, air purifying, antioxidant, uplifting, stress-relieving, all in this mighty candle! The Cleanse Candle is a 200ml candle that will cast naturally, relaxing aromas for up to 45 hours. A sprinkle of Himalayan Sea Salt on top of the candle not only looks pretty but adds an extra benefit to the candle for its natural power to purify and cleanse the air surrounding it.

Does your collection use recycled, recyclable packaging and no plastics? (all must apply, and if your collection results in zero waste from the manufacturing process please tick this box)
Are all items in your collection made with at least 50% recycled or up-cycled materials? (only applies if you are an apparel, accessories, jewellery or homeware brand)
Is your collection made exclusively in your studio or by an artisan collective of fewer than 10 people? There should be a focus on preserving artisanal production methods and skilled workers in order to qualify.
Are all items in your collection made with at least 90% plant-based ingredients or materials, e.g. tencel, cotton, hemp, modal, coconut, pineapple? (There can be NO leather or animals based products in your collection for you to receive this icon).
Is your collection manufactured on a small scale in an environmentally sensitive manner, from non-synthetic, sustainably sourced materials, ingredients or textiles e.g. beeswax, silk? (all must apply)
Is the manufacturing process of your collection free from child labour and human trafficking, are all workers paid a living wage, and is the factory compliant with all local environmental regulations?
Is your collection or constituent ingredients/materials free from animal testing? (only applies if you are a beauty, grooming or candle brand)
Do all items in your collection use vegan based material, textiles or ingredients where normally animal by-products are used by most manufacturers?
Always place on a heatproof, non flammable surface
Always trim the wick to 0.5cm
Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the jar on the first burn
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time & leave the wax to cool before reignighting
