Style notes

Extra-tough elastic made of recycled water bottles with a non-slip silicone grip. Yet stretchy, comfy and adjustable from 24" to 58" hips. The belt is flat under tees, meaning no more tiny mystery holes from bulky buckles and there's even a secret inner pocket for emergency cash and a key. Plus, it's vegan and you can go beep-free in airport security.

Intrepids are sewn at Unbelts' Edmonton, Alberta studio and is backed by their living-wage supply chain.

Unbelts

Based in: Canada

Unbelts was started with two goals in mind: helping people feel great in their jeans, and creating quality jobs for the people throughout our supply chain. When Claire Theaker-Brown launched Unbelts from her living room in Shanghai, it wasn’t outsourcing - the women sewing the belts lived right down the street. We’ve now got twin studios: one in Changping, and one in Claire’s hometown of Edmonton, Alberta. Our manufacturing philosophy is “Who, not where” — because everyone who sews for Unbelts earns a living wage, works in a safe, comfortable environment, and has a flexible schedule. We honour the work that goes into our products by designing for circularity and making every Unbelt last as long as it possibly can.
