Developed by advanced research, Alkeme Atelier's signature vegan leather is responsibly engineered to outperform standard animal leather. While it has a similar appearance to leather, it's cleanable, longer lasting and almost one-third the weight of its animal counterpart. Vegan leather is scratch-resistant, high in strength and water-repellent, making it an immensely durable material.
LINING:
The handbag's interior lining is made from a polyester created out of recycled plastic bottles and produced in a factory that has Global Recycled Standard certification. Each lining uses about ten plastic bottles, preventing them from becoming ocean pollution or planet waste. By buying this bag you are taking a small step to help keep our oceans and planet clean.
DUST BAG:
Every handbag comes with a dust bag made from 100% natural and biodegradable bamboo fiber. The antibacterial and odor-free properties of this textile make it the perfect protective layer for your handbag. However, you can also choose to use the dust bag as a shopping bag or reusable tote as each bag has sturdy straps attached to wear over your shoulder. The material is also produced in a factory that has Global Recycled Standard certification.
