Tega Collective

We started Tega Collective to amplify the craft of Adivasi (Indigenous) peoples across India and preserve the time-honoured traditions of each community. Indigenous wisdom is key in sustainable fashion from cultivating Indigenous lands with native fibers, to preserving Indigenous craft and culture. At Tega our goal is to Indigenize the fashion supply chain. We are cultivating each tribe’s native fibers around their environment for hand-spun fabrics, natural dyes, and embroidery all produced hyper-locally within a 150 mile radius. We co-create collections with Adivasi communities creating products that they are proud of. 18% of profits are shared with our artisan communities. Our pieces have an inclusive and growing size range of XS-4XL.
