by Wolf & Badger

Nothing quite says summer chic like long stretches of beach amidst the colonial style towns and villages dotting the coastline of the iconic Hamptons. Where to stay:

The Hamptons is filled with homey farmhouse stays, like the Maidstone Hotel. The property is more than 150 years old, dating back to the Civil War. The hotel’s historic presence is evident through the building's style, the lush garden, and cosy front porch. Mill House Inn is another boutique hotel with a classic east coast feel, with ten unique rooms for you to choose from.

Where to eat:

Because you’ll definitely need some phenomenal restaurants to complete your high-end summer vacay. Rosie’s gets fresh ingredients from local farms, offering new twists on classic American fare. Almond has an ever-changing menu, being a market-driven, seasonal, and local joint.

Where to visit:

The Hamptons has a number of wonderful beaches to lounge at, with Cooper's Beach being one of the most popular; watch the surf, relax on the white sand, and there are restaurants easily accessible. Atlantic Avenue Beach is another soft white sand beach for a livelier and younger crowd. If you’re in need of a break from the hot summer sun, check out some of the Hamptons art museums; the Longhouse Reserve is a 16-acre sculpture garden and home of the late Jack Lenor Larsen, a prolific artist, collector, and author.
