Your shawl is woven and dyed entirely by hand. First wash: rinse separately in cool water with silk-friendly detergent, as artisan dyes settle in their first wash. Founder Tran Rex, a Vietnamese artisan and mother based in the UK, learned silk dyeing and hand embroidery through her family, and works today with master weavers using techniques unchanged for generations: traditional looms, small-batch natural dyeing, silk dried in the open air on bamboo frames.
