Crisp crescent moons in a bright mirror finish are light weight and easy to wear. Made of solid recycled sterling silver with chunky handmade butterfly backs that are easy to grasp. Lovingly handcrafted in ZULA's West Coast studio.

Sterling silver

ZULA uses sterling silver that is recycled. She buys it from precious metal refineries in Ontario and also recycles the silver in her own studio. Every bit of silver and scrap is used or refined to use again.

TO CLEAN
Wipe using a Jeweller's Polishing Cloth, Sunshine Cloth made in Japan is a favourite!
Or you can rub with toothpaste using a soft rag.
If you have various silver pieces that need to be cleaned at once create a bath for them. In a jar combine a tablespoon of baking soda, an approximately 4 x 4” scrap of tinfoil and the silver jewelry. Pour boiling water in the jar. You will see the pieces touching the tinfoil slowly brighten. In about 10 minutes you have bright silver jewelry again! Rinse in water and pat dry with a towel.

Her work stems from her reverence of the natural world; she creates relationships with trees, respectfully gathering their branches + leaves, and applying their textures in her designs. “With the jewelry I make, I want to remind you of your connection to Nature and the Cosmos, and to find the inner strength to shine your light into the world.” She graduated with a diploma in Jewellery Art and Design from Vancouver Community College, and started ZULA in 2010. Born in Warsaw, Poland, ZULA currently resides + creates in her sunny studio in Vancouver, Canada.
