Celebrating International Women's Day
We're celebrating International Women's Day by highlighting our brands that support women's charities and initiatives all year round, rather than just for one day.
From purchasing menstruation kits for young women in East Africa, to supporting young women aged 16-30 struggling to live on low pay, empowering women is ingrained in their brand identity and ethos.
Join us in celebrating their work and the positive impact they are making.
NATURALS OF ALKEBULAN
Each month 5% of proceeds are used to purchase Huru menstruation kits for young women in East Africa. The Huru programme also provides girls with extensive educational programming focused on life skills and sexual and reproductive health information.
Jemima Sara supports The Young Women’s Trust by donating 10% of profits to the charity. The Young Women Trust supports and represents young women aged 16-30 struggling to live on low or no pay and are at risk of being trapped in poverty.
PLINTH X BELLA FREUD
To mark the 2018 centenary of women's suffrage in the UK, a statue of Millicent Fawcett by artist Gillian Wearing was unveiled in London's Parliament Square. Wearing has collaborated with Plinth, the Mayor of London and designer Bella Freud to produce a range of merchandise inspired by Fawcett's message, and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Fawcett Society.
Willow Cashmere donates 5% of profits to Child Rescue Nepal and each season produces one item which gives a larger percentage directly to help towards running Marigold House, a safe haven for girls who have been trafficked into slavery or sexually exploited.
