Druzy Quartz refers to a layer of minute quartz crystals that have crystallized on the surface of a quartz based mineral. Druzy Quartz has a sugar-like appearance. They are often found in the hollow cavity of Amethyst geodes.

Druzy stones are actual gemstones which because of a natural occurrence have formed a layer of crystallisation on the stone. Because these are natural gemstones and the layer of crystal druzy is not man made, there is no chance of the layer of druzy crystals from falling or rubbing off.
