Style notes

Printed multicolor long sleeve stretch mesh top with visible blue seams. This top is see through and you can wear it by itself or underneath one of our tees.

Cartoon Heroes emerges as a fantasy of escaping and salvation, from the shock of the pandemic and the lethargy of lockdown.

The prints in this collection are the superficial texture of a new and more stimulating planet, or the visual distortion of an acid trip.

Sustainability guarantees

Is the manufacturing process of your collection free from child labour and human trafficking, are all workers paid a living wage, and is the factory compliant with all local environmental regulations?

Are all items in your collection made with at least 50% recycled or up-cycled materials? (only applies if you are an apparel, accessories, jewellery or homeware brand)

Is your collection made exclusively in your studio or by an artisan collective of fewer than 10 people? There should be a focus on preserving artisanal production methods and skilled workers in order to qualify.

Hand wash or dry clean only. Handmade with love in Mexico.

Paloma Lira

Based in: Mexico

Paloma Lira was established in 2012 with the intention of expressing in our garments the nostalgic essence and obsession towards the cultural and social changes of past decades and its influence nowadays.

Those changes reflected in music, fashion and movies of those years are transferred to the brand with the same emotional, sexual and mental freedom that we all intent to live with. The purpose is to create timeless pieces that evolve to be one with the customer in their personal search for identity.

Before Paloma Lira, the designer worked with the designer Alexia Ulibarri in Mexico. She also interned in the design team at Zac Posen in NY and Emmanuel Ungaro in Paris.
