This single earring design features around 40 real scarab wings per piece, which are individually processed and set to create this drop shape. It is extremely light and moves gently with the wearer as it sits on the lobe. Sold as a single earring, this design measures approximately 13 cm, longer than our other beetle wing earrings. Available as a pair too!

These beetles, known as well as scarabs, possess a remarkable shiny green shade. However, variations can be observed, with some beetles displaying copper, gold, yellow, or deep blue tones.

To create this Scarab Wings design, I source these insect wings from Thailand, where they are considered a culinary delicacy and shields are discarded after the inside is consumed.

The scarab wings are entirely natural and they are not treated in any way.

Materials: Recycled 14K Gold-Filled, Recycled natural beetle wings (ethically sourced), Sterling Silver.

Packaging: The item comes in our signature packaging.

Care Instructions: We recommend to avoid any chemicals, such as perfumes, soap, or cleaning agents. The wings are naturally water-resistant and durable, but would be best to keep it away from water ( take it off while showering ) and any sources of direct heat ( hair dryer ).

The jewellery should be stored in their original packaging, in a dry and cool place!
