FERN is a luxury lingerie & eveningwear maison dedicated to celebrating femininity regardless of gender. Known for its corsets and kimonos, the maison has been featured in Vogue, Playboy, The New York Times and WWD, and has made custom kimonos for Jared Leto. Founded by designer Fern Clausius in 2020, FERN brings the traditional French artistry of couture to New York, helping clients explore their own relationship with femininity and sexuality. Discovering lingerie helped Fern embrace her LGBTQ+ identity, and she sees intimate apparel as one of the strongest tools for self-discovery. FERN creates bespoke and small-batch demi-couture pieces in luxurious silk, French lace and primarily natural textiles, combating overproduction with specialty pieces made domestically in the NYC area.
