Ann Spence learned how to make necklaces and jewellery as a child. While working as a writer and portrait painter, she continued to create pieces, only to discover increasing demand for her jewellery. She founded SheBee in 2011. Ann grew up in the metropolitan areas of New York, Chicago, London and Rome, surrounded and inspired by the high art of these cities. Her true love is folk art and the SheBee collection is a meeting point: where folk meets chic.
