This metal loves being worn everyday. It does naturally tarnish over time especially when not worn. This is easily corrected with a sterling silver polishing cloth as well as with warm soapy water and a soft non-abrasive cloth. If wearing everyday we recommend regular cleaning to keep its shine.

Even though these stones can be worn everyday we recommend regularly cleaning them with warm soapy water and a soft non-abrasive cloth to keep their sparkle and shine. Using lotions and wearing in the shower will dull their appearance but this is easily sorted with a quick clean. Opals are the stone to be careful with as they are fragile and can crack with extreme temperature.

The hoop measures 11mm outside to outside edge, 8mm internal and 3.8mm at the widest point of the stone. The hoop width is 1.2mm. The post width is 0.7mm and 21 gauge.
