Based in Barcelona, Barner was founded in early 2017 by two friends. After living their lives totally immersed in the digital world, they had identified a problem that was not only affecting them but millions of people all around the globe: overexposure to blue light. As hard workers and technology lovers, their eyes couldn’t withstand the long hours spent every day in front of screens. Barner uses high-quality organic CR-39 organic optical quality lenses that block 100% of the blue light under 410nm and 45% of the blue light on the 410nm–450nm spectrum. At just 15 grams, these lightweight, ultra-comfortable frames feature flexible hinges and temples for an adaptable fit and a rubberized texture for better grip. Barner is committed to sustainability and is B Corp certified.
