"Fiercely mischievous" defines the Ruthie kaftan. Very lightweight organic hand loomed silk and cotton fabric combine to provide the ultimate in luxuriously soft and free flowing movement. Our tiger print with a splash of monkeys in their habitat remind us and the world who we are. Handworked shibori, 100% vegetable dye and hand embroidered tiger and monkey motifs on hood and sleeve deliver an unparalleled design. And for a twist of functionality .. we incorporated hidden pockets and side slits for casual easy movement.

This garment is crafted from hand loomed, hand printed, hand stitched fabric using dyes made from vegetables only. Variations in color, design and texture are part of its beauty and are not considered a design flaw.

45% Handloomed organic cotton/55% handloomed silk
Hand wash in cold with mild detergent, hang to dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Low iron setting. Tassels should be dried away from body of garment and flattened with fingers or light iron after drying. Dryclean with any solvent except tetrachorethylene.
