Park + Coop, the independent brand upcycling rescued textiles, speak about their values, what success means to them, and the Wolf & Badger guarantee that resonates most with their mission.
For Park + Coop, the independent brand working to upcycle rescued textiles into fun, functional, and premium products, minimising the impact their business makes on the planet and inspiring others to do the same is a top priority. We caught up with the brand to chat everything from the values at the centre of their production chain to the advice they would give to brands looking to diminish their impact on the planet.
1
Describe your brand and its purpose, beyond profit?
Park + Coop turns donated jeans and uniforms into functional, stylish products that tell a story and help the planet. Our mission is to reduce waste through reuse by creating goods people are proud to use. Each piece blends clean, modular design with durability and purpose.
2
What are your brand’s core values and how do they show through your creative process, your supply chain and production?
Our work is grounded in values of sustainability and responsibility, which show up in a creative process that favors domestic labor and supplies, reuse over new materials, and thoughtful, functional design. We commit to responsible disposal of any waste we do produce, and clean, modern craftsmanship that balances beauty with purpose.

If you had to select 2-3 products to best represent your approach, what would they be and why?
Our classic apron - this is one of our first pieces and the impetus for our sustainable ethos. Made up of 11 different pieces cut from previously worn jeans, it is popular with cooks, gardeners, hair stylists, and more.
Our market bag combined with the Manhattan crossbody strap - The market bag is a great all-purpose bag, whether your shopping, traveling, or carrying all your kids' stuff for them. Pairing it with the Manhattan Strap is a perfect example of our focus on convertibility and function. Each piece can be used separately or combined together, easily transitioning from a versatile everyday carry to a hands-free crossbody, combining practicality with clean, modern style. Best yet, these bags are machine washable and easy to care for.

4
Is there another brand or designer that has inspired your approach to social or environmental impact?
I read an article in a magazine about the environmental impact of mass production. That article really stuck with me, and it is what inspired me to focus on reuse and sustainability, ensuring my work contributes to solutions rather than waste.
5
How do you measure success for your brand and what does it mean to you?
We measure success in how much waste we rescue. To date we have reused about 3/4 tonne of waste. Our goal is to reach 1 tonne by the end of the holiday season. We're very proud that we're making a positive impact.

6
Which of the Wolf & Badger Guarantees resonates with your brand most and why?
Re/Upcycled Materials for sure. Our whole business model is based on the premise of a circular economy. The current way most producers operate isn’t sustainable. Businesses must find a way to reuse in order to reduce consumption of natural resources and minimise waste. We can’t just keep making more and more and more and expect there to be no impact to our planet and its people. It isn’t easy or cheap to upcycle but we believe it’s the right thing to do.

If you could give one piece of advice to brands looking to improve their impact, what would it be?
Focus on building a supply chain that reflects your values—prioritise reuse over new materials, choose ethical and local labor wherever possible, and design with longevity in mind. When every decision considers both people and planet, impact naturally improves and your brand story becomes more authentic and enduring. And find strategic partnerships that value the same things as you.
