In 1930, starring in movie 'Morocco', her character, a cabaret singer kisses another woman whilst dressed in a mans tuxedo. Part of 'Marlene's Sewing Circle', a secret society of underground closeted lesbian & bisexual actresses in Hollywood, rumoured to include Greta Garbo, Claudette Colbert & Edith Piaf.
