Style Notes
The bustling Chinatown in the heart of Soho in Central London, is one of my favourite places to wander and wonder at the imposing Chinese gates. It looks even more special at the time of the Chinese New Year, with strings of bright red lanterns crisscrossing through the narrow alleyways. I have always wanted to illustrate the red pops of new year lanterns against the giant gates of Chinatown, a nice contrast to the stark white snow lights of Oxford Street in Christmas. Sold unframed.

Meet The Designer

Eye for London is a studio based in Brixton London. The eclectic collection of art prints are inspired by the architecture, music and pop culture of London, and travels across the world. The subjects are unique and visually exciting or have an interesting story to go with them. A love for vivid colours, angles and geometry are reflected in the artworks. The studio was set up in 2016 by Mathanki Kodavasal, a Creative Director in advertising, and Ram Iyer, a Graphic Novelist.

The series on Brutalist London has been featured on TimeOut London.

The artworks are printed on 350gsm lightly textured cotton Conqueror Paper. Designed and freshly printed to order, professionally in London.
