Agnès de Verneuil
“Jewelry for me evokes so many childhood memories. Every Christmas, I marveled at jewelry given to me by my grandmother. Whether it was gold, silver, coral or simply costume jewelry, each piece had a story to tell, some from the other side of the world. These pieces shaped my tastes very early on and still inspire me often in my creations”.
After studying fashion in Paris, Agnès went to live in India, the country of her dreams, where she worked with jeweler Marie- Hélène de Taillac for three years discovering the workshops of the Maharajas.
Between spirituality, spices and pigments, she sharpened her eye, learned about the brilliance of stones, the perfection of proportions and gradually walked towards “her own karma”.
Back in Paris, she created her first collection in 2009 of ethnic and antique jewelry: simple rings, three- or seven-band rings, hooped earrings, bracelets and pendants to be worn alone or superimposed. Precious without being pretentious, the jewelry of Agnès de Verneuil goes beyond trends in the art of finesse and elegance.
