Areia originates in the vision of it’s founder, Erna María, who after years of dividing her time between Colombia and native Iceland, longed to create timeless, affordable jewellery inspired by her blended and vibrant cultures. We believe that jewellery is a way of marking moments, expressing love, and telling stories. At Areia, eveery piece is handmade using only recycled 925 sterling silver, carefully crafted by a women-owned and women-led family workshopwe honour this enduring tradition by crafting pieces that feel intimate, soulful, and enduring.
