Étoilight

Étoilight is a Tokyo-based jewellery brand launched in 2017 by designer Mio Hisamitsu. With a grandmother who was a jewellery dealer and a mother who is a jewellery designer, Mio studied art and metalwork in Tokyo, followed by fashion design at Central Saint Martins in London. Combining her background in engraving, casting and forging with her experience as a fashion designer, she blends timeless elegance, modern sensibility and subtle playfulness in jewellery designed to be worn across generations. Working with skilled artisans in Japan, Mio creates pieces in 18-karat gold, platinum and sterling silver, with carefully selected natural diamonds, distinctive gemstones and Japanese Akoya pearls.
