Mariana Pires is the designer behind Lipscani Portugal - a fashion accessory brand with inspiration in the Art Nouveau / Art Deco movement. Inspired by her Portuguese roots, all the prints are hand drawn by her and are made to perpetuate the culture and architecture of the turn on the century. These prints are made to take its user through the pages of history and Portuguese culture. All products are crafted by hand, by skilled artisans in Portugal. Although I take pictures of elements for inspiration, I avoid looking at them the moment I'm drawing.
