Majeda Clarke is an award winning artist and designer. She has a keen interest in the future of craft as a discipline and promoting diverse access to craft. A Cockpit Arts Awardee, she has received the British Muslim Award for creativity and has been selected as a Liberty ‘Future Collectible’ for the blanket collection Macaron. The multilayered landscape of both Britain and her birth county, Bangladesh, are reflected in her bold geometric weaves. The collections are woven in small family run mills in the UK.
