MASTANI is built on the values of uncompromising quality and slow fashion, our ready-to-wear collections are defined by artisanal fabrics, bold silhouettes and a progressive aesthetic. Established in Melbourne, Australia in 2018 MASTANI is the vision of Kudrat Makkar. Through MASTANI, she wants to take the customers on a journey into the world of the hands that made it and the culture that shaped it. By using handmade traditional techniques which are inherited by the artisans from their ancestors, her aim is to preserve and revitalise her Indian cultural heritage through the brand. Our artisans are masters in embellishment, hand looming, structure and contemporary silhouettes. With a focus on ethical and transparent production all garment construction is performed in house at our MASTANI Atelier, located in Bengaluru, India. For MASTANI, luxury is defined by the detail and unique quality that creating a garment by hand brings.
