Siskin London

British textile designer Keren McConnell has taken inspiration from holidays in the Pyrénées-Orientales, Southern France, together with influences from her personal collection of vintage silk scarves to launch Siskin London in June 2013. The scarves incorporate painterly graphic brush strokes in bold colour combinations including Sunflower, Pepper Red and Azure. The brand is named after the Siskin – a cute, brightly coloured native British bird spotted in large numbers in Keren’s North London garden while she was designing the collection.
