Named after Aquila Street in our namesake St John’s Wood, the constellation-inspired Aquila Ikat clutch bag adds a splash of colour to any outfit.

Available in wave and dash designs, the handmade silk/cotton Ikat fabric* is created using an incredibly intricate weaving process by skilled craftswomen in the Fergana Valley region, to produce a limited edition range of 5 vibrant colours.

The chic clutch shape can be worn over the shoulder and features a detachable chain when you want to be more hands-on.

The eye-catching ikat fabrics SJW bags are known for, are entirely handmade, with the width and breadth of each design determined by each maker’s arm length. Each bag is designed with this in mind, using any extra material to create something new. Remnant fabric from larger bags, along with any offcuts from ethically sourced leathers are used to make mini wallets, wristlets or straps until it’s all gone.
