In 1998, while working as a social worker in NYC, Maya began making jewelery on the side after teaching herself how to wire wrap from a book she bought at a local bead store. In 2007 Maya created her most popular and sought after style to date -The Original Asymmetrical Letter Necklace. In her 20+ years of running her company, Maya is proud of her long standing retail partnerships with boutiques across the world and forming co-partnerships with other female entrepreneurs.
