‘Break Away’ is a unique silk pocket square inspired by the excitement of professional cycle road racing. It has been created in collaboration with leading ‘painter of speed’ John Ketchell.
For the original acrylic on canvas work used for the pocket square design, John captures the drama of a Grand Tour break as the attacking riders attempt to escape the peleton.
Printed in Macclesfield England, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse sides of the silk pocket square to work perfectly with any pocket square fold. The image is framed by the pocket square’s pink border and blue hand-rolled & hand-sewn hem. It is a full-size pocket square (42 x 42cm).
'Break Away' comes tissue-wrapped in a complimentary Otway & Orford branded gift box.

High-quality 100% Mulberry silk is woven into 16oz silk twill to give the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as to ensure that the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket.
Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-sewn hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape.
