Always protect it from sharp blows, scratching, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold. Keep silver in a dark, cool and dry place. Saltwater, detergents, harsh chemicals such as chlorine bleach, hairspray, perfume and perspiration can cause damage and discolouration.
