Studio Afuera

Studio Afuera is a platform of cultural exchange expressed through garments, lifestyle and heritage pieces. Afuera means “outside” in Spanish. For us, it speaks to life beyond the places we come from, and to the beauty of carrying heritage wherever we go. Studio Afuera was founded by three friends: Mariella Ruiz de Somocurcio , Constantine Coccolatos & Yousef Al-Amad. They come from different worlds , Latin America, Europe & the Arab world. Living abroad, we found that distance only deepened our connection to culture, and Afuera became a celebration of that.. In-between space: not here, not there, but somewhere in motion. We design with nostalgia , telling stories from both rural and urban life.
