Description
Our new Gertrude coat is inspired by a self portrait of great grandmother, Gertrude, an artist living in New York in the 1920's.
Neat collar and shoulder line, this coat as a gentle flare towards the hem. A signature deep hem border weights this garment whilst wearing. The inside hem bordered is embroidered with flowers.
The back is softly gathered from a small band sitting above the natural waistline.

The fabric is woven especially for us, finished with our special soft wash handle.100% heavy washed linen. Wrist length sleeves with turn back cuff exposing pretty floral embroidery underneath.

Gentle-machine or hand-wash at 30 degrees using non-bio detergent to preserve the colour. Best to hang to dry to minimise creasing. Steam iron pressing the pockets first before continuing.
