Ana Chic

Ana Chic was founded in Brighton in 2025 by Zeynep and Ahmet, after a stranger stopped Zeynep in the street to ask about the cardigan her mother had crocheted by hand. Three people asked that afternoon. A month later they opened an 11m² store on Prince Albert Street. Every piece is designed in our Brighton studio and made by hand by women artisans in Anatolia, then quality-checked in our own atelier. Nothing is made by machine. A cardigan takes around eight days of one woman's hands. We work in organic cotton and natural wool, in small batches. Most designs are one of one, and once a design retires it is not made again. "Ana" means mother, and the craft comes from Anadolu — Anatolia, literally "full of Ana". Brighton studio. Anatolian hands.
